Some of you may know me as GlamourBoxFox on youtube. This is my blog related to my channel where I do more reviews and fashion and beauty related posts and overall blog about my life and the things I treasure most.
When I first started out on youtube it was out of sheer boredom on a gloomy October day. I was messing around and ended up uploading a cheesy Halloween video. I didn't think much of it until that video started getting views and I started getting subscribers. I recall when there were nine of you following my channel, then one hundred, then one thousand, and so on! Of course that embarrassing poor quality video is now gone, and my ambition with youtube has totally transformed since then. Being on youtube has taught me so much, but most of all I learned from my subscribers. My original intent was to be nothing more than a makeup tutorial channel. But with all journeys one grows, and I eventually realized my full potential was being held back. I no longer wanted to limit myself to just one thing, so I decided that my channel would be a lifestyle channel - a creative and colorful outlet where I can be myself, showcase what I love to do, and enjoy it with my subscribers who I consider my youtube friends.
My channel and my blog is centered around creativity. There are no limitations here. I love to dabble in so many different things. I love making things, sharing ideas, giving people a wow-factor. Being the perfectionist I am, sometimes perfect isn't good enough - this can be both good and bad. It's good because it pushes me to be the best I can be, it's bad because I get obsessed with it! But I love making my audience happy. I don't want my content to be basic or typical, I want to stand out. And that's one of the big reasons I decided to do something with my youtube channel. Here you'll see me doing DIYs, inspiring you, making you smile, bringing you color and joy, and doing a little makeup here and there because I'll always enjoy beauty!
I love it when people tell me my content makes them happy. With so much trouble in the world I love knowing that I've done something to maybe take someone's mind off from their troubles and made them smile or inspired them to do something fun and creative. It's all about having fun and being yourself even if you're a goof like me, being an artist, and being the most good you can be. No one is perfect and that's what makes us all beautiful from the inside out.
